ALERT: City of Mill Valley’s Meeting about the Almonte/Miller Avenue Design

From meetings about traffic in and around our neighborhoods and shared roadways, I am aware of concerns expressed about this important location at Miller Avenue (City of Mill Valley) and Almonte Blvd (County of Marin), adjacent to the Mill Valley-Sausalito Multiuse Pathway.

Almonte/Miller Avenue Design Meeting

We would like to invite you, and your neighbors to join us on November 16, 2016 at the Mill Valley Community Center Mountain View Room from 6:30pm - 8:00 pm. The meeting's purpose is to address concerns raised about modifying the Almonte Boulevard/ Miller Avenue intersection in conjunction with the adopted Miller Avenue Streetscape Plan.

At the meeting, we will discuss this intersection, its unique characteristics, some of the thoughts behind the design concept, present alternatives, and invite your input to further improve this project. We understand that there are concerns about traffic congestion in this area. The Mill Valley City Council shares the concerns related to traffic congestion and is committed to pursuing efforts to address the issue.
