Supervisor Kate Sears would like you to know about an upcoming meeting regarding a proposal by Peace Lutheran Church to build an assisted living/memory care facility on property at 205 Tennessee Valley Road in Tam Valley.

The Tamalpais Design Review Board will be reviewing this project, the Peace Lutheran Church Tentative Map/Design Review, and hold a public hearing on Wednesday, June 1st at 7:00 p.m. at the Tam Valley Community Center at 203 Marin Avenue, Mill Valley.

The proposed project entails construction of a new 72 bed, 35,880 square-foot memory care/assisted living facility behind the existing church (in the location of the existing parsonage building, which would be demolished).

You are welcome to attend the Tamalpais Design Review Board meeting to hear about this proposal and to ask questions and offer comments. If you are unable to attend, you may also submit comments to County planner Jocelyn Drake at (415) 473-6245 or jdrake@marincounty.org.

Feel free to share this message with others who may be interested.  And, as always, feel free to send me your questions and comments at ksears@marincounty.org or (415) 473-7331.
