Do ever you walk around your neighborhood or the trails here in Southern Marin and find yourself wondering, “How did I get so fortunate to be living in such a wonderful place?” And have you then asked yourself what you could do to show your appreciation and gratitude?

If you've ever wondered how to "give back," then this is your day!

Have you heard about a city board or commission and wondered what they do? When you attended yet another fascinating First Friday program at the Mill Valley Library, do you picture yourself involved there or perhaps at parks and recreation or with public safety?

In the spirit of community, join us on Saturday, April 2^nd from 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. to learn about the many civic and nonprofit organizations that serve Mill Valley and Southern Marin, and the great array of volunteer opportunities here in our community. 34 groups are excited to explain what they do and how you might help.

Stroll the tables, sip a coffee in the sunshine and explore the networks of community service that truly give Mill Valley its small town character and charm. In works of service, we gain more than we give and you may even meet a new friend or two.
