Public Hearing on February 9, 2016 Re: Options to
Preserve Housing Affordability in Marin County

The Marin County Board of Supervisors will hold a public hearing on Tuesday, February 9, 2016 at 1:30 pm to consider possible solutions to prevent displacement of existing residents and preserve housing affordability in unincorporated Marin County. A number of policy options to address these issues were considered by the Board of Supervisors at three previous workshops on October 13, November 17 and December 15, 2015. At the upcoming hearing on February 9, the Board will give direction to staff and discuss the phasing of various policies chosen for implementation. Staff reports for previous workshops are available that describe policies and programs being considered.

The hearing will be held in the Marin County Board Chambers (Room 330, Administration Building), 3501 Civic Center Drive, San Rafael, California. An agenda and staff report will be available a week prior to the meeting on the Board of Supervisors meeting webpage and at the Community Development Agency, Suite 308, San Rafael (open Monday through Thursday 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM, closed Friday).
