JOIN THE PROCESS FOR BETTER ACCESS IN TAM JUNCTION

Share ideas and learn more about planned bicycle and pedestrian improvements on Shoreline Highway.

With my encouragement and the support of Mill Valley Councilmember and Southern Marin Safe Routes Task Force Coordinator, Stephanie Moulton-Peters, the Transportation Authority of Marin has been developing a plan to provide bicycle lanes on Shoreline Highway in both directions between Flamingo Road and Coyote Creek. At the same time, Caltrans has been working to develop a plan to close pedestrian gaps and widen sidewalks on the west and south side of Shoreline Highway.

Every day, students, recreational and commuter bicyclists, and shoppers travel the corridor, sharing the outside travel lanes with motorists. Also, pedestrians and transit bus riders walk along the highway’s shoulders where sidewalks are discontinuous and, in some cases, lacking entirely. Share your ideas and learn more about planned improvements to enhance everyone’s safety along Shoreline Highway.
