UPDATE FROM KATE

Did You Miss the Transportation Authority of Marin’s
Strategic Vision Plan Workshop on June 20?

Here’s Your Chance to Weigh In
And Shape Marin’s Transportation Future
From the Comfort of Home

YOUR INPUT IS NEEDED to help prioritize transportation investments in Marin County over the next three decades. The Transportation Authority of Marin (TAM) wants your ideas for projects and programs to include in the Regional Transportation Plan (RTP), to inform a Strategic Vision Plan (STP), and to help focus limited resources on projects that represent community priorities.

UPDATE ON THE WORKSHOP - Thank you to all who were able to attend the Transportation Authority of Marin’s Saturday’s workshop on June 20! The turnout was terrific, especially given the enticing bright sunshine and warm weather.

Southern Marin residents, especially a group that carpooled from Marin City, turned up in large numbers to comment on the TAM Strategic Vision Plan.

We heard informative presentations and then joined small groups for lively discussions. Highlights, reported out by each group, included transportation needs, gaps in service and connectivity, sharing local knowledge, ideas for better circulation and even hopes for fascinating technological solutions for the future. Here’s TAM’s overview of the day.

There is still an opportunity to provide input to the process via TAM’s online surveys. Here are two ways to take the survey and voice your opinion:

Help us craft a dynamic and integrated transportation future that fits Marin’s growing needs. We’d be grateful to hear from you. Feel free to share with others who may wish to weigh in too.
