* Audits, Legal, and Accounting are included with DORIIS in Release 1

The release plan follows these guiding principles:
-
Set the Foundation: CRIIS design will be based on Discovery from all the applications.
-
Logical Dependencies: Applications are grouped to reflect operational connectivity, financial prioritization, and technical order of operations.
-
Minimized Complexity: Avoidance of temporary interfaces helps ensure seamless transitions without relying on legacy systems.
-
Strategic Alignment: Consideration is given to program-specific timelines, legislative requirements, and organizational readiness.

Dive into the latest updates to stay informed on all things CRIIS:
Goodbye Discovery, Hello Design
January marks the end of the CRIIS Discovery Sessions that CalRecycle and Accenture began conducting last September, 2024. Thank you to all who have presented in, participated in, and supported these sessions.
The CRIIS Design Phase kicked off in November 2024 and is in-progress. During the Design Phase, Accenture uses information gathered during Discovery to construct and configure the CRIIS solution.
Design documentation is presented in a series of meetings called Design Ceremonies with Accenture and CalRecycle Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) taking into consideration system architecture, the user experience, specific functionality, and integration.
Showcasing the Future: December's Salesforce Functionality Demonstration
In December, the CRIIS Project Team demonstrated the Salesforce functionality that is the foundation of CRIIS. Participants learned about Salesforce capabilities. An overview of Salesforce features and the recorded session are available here.
