Upcoming Mandatory Training – Workplace Violence Prevention Training

The Training and Development Unit is excited to announce upcoming sessions for the “Workplace Violence Prevention” mandatory training. There will be two sessions, a 1-hour session for rank-and-file staff and a 1.5-hour session for supervisors and managers.

The sessions will be led by Attorney, Eric Glassman at Shaw Law Group. Eric Glassman is a valuable member of the Association of Workplace Investigators. He is a highly experienced professional training practice leader and senior investigator with over 25 years of expertise in providing legal advice agencies, training, and litigation-related services to private corporations, non-profit organizations, and public.

The goal of this training is to:

• Enhance the overall awareness of workplace violence prevention among CalRecycle’s employees to create a safe and open environment for discussion.
•  Provide best practices to proactively prevent workplace violence and abusive conduct incidents.
