Good afternoon,

Please find attached the FEMA Guidance: Coronavirus (COVID-19) Pandemic:  Public Assistance Programmatic Deadlines (Interim) Version 2, FEMA Policy #104-22-0002.

Key takeaways of V2 of the COVID-19 Programmatic Deadline Policy include:

  • Work completion deadline: 5/11/23 for work performed between 7/2/22-5/11/23 (i.e., 90% Federal cost share period).  
  • Project submission deadline: Subrecipients must submit all project in Grants Portal by 11/7/23 for work performed between 7/2/22-5/11/23 (i.e., 90% Federal cost share period) including demobilization, disposition, and disposal activities. 
    • Please submit costs to Cal OES by 8/9/2023.
  • Management costs deadline: 5/11/25 (deadline to incur management costs).
      
  • Closeout deadline: Recipients must submit Final Inspection Reports (FIRs) to FEMA by 5/6/24 for all projects.  
    • Please submit a P.4 to Cal OES within 90 days of project obligation.
