COUNTY OF LOS ANGELES EMPLOYEE COVID-19 TESTING SITES UPDATES

The purpose of this communication is to inform you of upcoming changes to the County of Los Angeles (County) Employee COVID-19 Testing Sites (Employee Testing Sites).

Closures in Observance of the Independence Day Holiday

On Monday, July 4, 2022, in observance of the Independence Day Holiday, the following seven (7) County Employee Testing Sites will be closed:

1. Curtis Tucker Center for Community Wellness – 123 W. Manchester Blvd., Inglewood, CA 90301
2. Harbor-UCLA Medical Center – 1000 W. Carson Street, Torrance, CA 90509
3. Internal Services Department (ISD) – 1100 N. Eastern Avenue, Los Angeles, CA 90063
4. LAC+USC Medical Center – 2020 Zonal Avenue, Unit 620, Los Angeles, CA, 90033
5. Men’s Central Jail – 441 Bauchet Street, Los Angeles, CA 90012
6. Olive View-UCLA Medical Center – 14445 Olive View Drive, Sylmar, CA 91343
7. Pitchess Detention Center – 29320 The Old Road, Castaic, CA 91384

Moving forward, the above-mentioned testing sites will be closed on all County observed holidays unless otherwise noted. Up-to-date information will be posted on the Employee Testing Website https://employee.covid19.lacounty.gov/.

Change in Testing Location

The last day of operations for the Plaza Mexico (Co-Located Employee Testing Site), located at 3100 E. Imperial Highway, Lynwood, CA 90262, will be Wednesday, June 29, 2022. In its place, starting Thursday, June 30, 2022, John D. Ham Park, located at 11832 Atlantic Avenue, Lynwood, CA 90262, will open with hours of operation from Tuesdays through Saturdays from 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. This site will continue to be a co-located employee and community testing site. On opening day, the John D. Ham Park testing site will open from 12:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m.

The last day of operations for the Barry J. Nidorf Juvenile Hall (County Employee Testing Site), located at 16350 Filbert Street, Sylmar, CA 91342, will be Monday, July 11, 2022. County Employees will be able to utilize the Olive View-UCLA Medical Center located at 14445 Olive View Drive, Sylmar, CA 91343.

County employees are able to test on Saturdays at select Employee Testing Sites. Information on which sites offer Saturday availability is posted on the Employee Testing Website.

Mask Requirement

For the safety of the testing site staff and other County employees getting tested, everyone must wear a face mask upon entering a COVID-19 testing site. Please remind staff about this requirement.
