Rancho Celebrates 40 Years of Athletes Pushing Boundaries at the Spinal Injury Games
WHAT: Rancho Los Amigos National Rehabilitation Center will host its 40th Annual Spinal Injury Games, a vibrant event celebrating the strength, resilience, and athleticism of individuals living with spinal cord injuries. The event will feature a wide range of adaptive sports and inclusive activities, offering powerful visuals and human-interest stories.

ABOUT: The 40th Annual Spinal Injury Games celebrate the power of adaptive sports in promoting rehabilitation, confidence, and community for people with spinal cord injuries and other mobility impairments. Hosted by Rancho Los Amigos National Rehabilitation Center, this milestone event highlights four decades of resilience and empowerment, showcasing what’s possible when innovation, determination, and community come together.
VISUALS & INTERVIEW OPPORTUNITIES: The event will feature dynamic visuals and standout adaptive sports demonstrations, including wheelchair rugby, tennis, basketball, handcycling, powerchair relays, and rock climbing. Family-friendly activities like bowling, golf, and pickleball will also be available. Media will have opportunities to interview athletes, therapists, and organizers to capture powerful stories of resilience and the impact of adaptive sports.
