CELEBRATING HANUKKAH

CELEBRATING HANUKKAH IN L.A. COUNTY

The eight-day Jewish festival of lights starts at sundown on Thursday, December 7, and ends the evening of Friday, December 15. The menorah, one of the many iconic symbols of the holiday, holds eight candles to commemorate the number of days that the lantern flames remained lit during the temple’s rededication. Happy Hanukkah from DPSS!

HUMAN RIGHTS DAY

HUMAN RIGHTS DAY

This year’s Human Rights Day theme is “Freedom, Equality, and Justice for All.” To learn more about the observance, visit Human Rights Day | United Nations.
