Los Angeles County faces emergencies and disasters, whether they be natural, technological, or human-caused, that can impact our public safety and quality of life at any given time. The Board of Supervisors has proclaimed September as National Preparedness Month. Exposure to disaster preparedness information and trainings are essential for County residents and businesses to become meaningfully engaged and prepared when these emergencies and disasters strike. The County of Los Angeles is accepting applications from youth individuals ages 14 to 24 for the Youth@Work Program.
