 AUGUST 18 DEADLINE SET TO RECEIVE UNUSED PANDEMIC EBT BENEFITS
The deadline for families to request a reissuance of unused CalFresh benefits on their 2021 Pandemic EBT (P-EBT 2.0) cards has been extended to August 18, 2023. P-EBT is a federal initiative offering supplemental food benefits to eligible families, complementing free or reduced-price meals at schools or childcare centers. Households with an unused 2021 P-EBT 2.0 card can request a reissuance. For more details, contact the P-EBT 2.0 Expungement Helpline at 1-800-887-8230 or chat online at www.ca.p-ebt.org, available Monday – Friday, 6:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m.

Child Support Awareness Month is an opportunity to raise awareness about the critical income support program that helps millions of children and families. The support empowers families in L.A. General Relief (GR) participants: to ensure you continue receiving your benefits without any interruptions, complete the annual GR renewal form we sent you. If needed, please also include any verification documents. Simply return the completed form and any required documents to DPSS by the specified due date.
