JOIN THE BATTLE AGAINST HUMAN TRAFFICKING
Sunday, July 30, is World Day Against Trafficking in Persons Day in the United States. The observance is calling on governments, law enforcement, public services, and civil society, to increase identification and support of survivors, and the conviction of traffickers. DPSS has designated 43 of its district offices as temporary safe spaces for at-risk youth as part of the County’s Safe Youth Zone (SYZ) Initiative. If you suspect a child is being victimized, call 911 or the L.A. County Child Protection Hotline at 1-800-540-4000.
