The L.A. County Community Action Board (CAB) invites residents of the 3rd Supervisorial District to Join the online public meeting TODAY, April 6, 2023. Help represent the interests of low-income residents in need of services funded through the Community Services Block Grant (CSBG). METROLINK INTRODUCES NEW LOW-INCOME FARE DISCOUNT PROGRAM
Metrolink’s new Low-Income Fare Program is now available offering Metrolink tickets for free transfers on participating transit agency services in Los Angeles, Orange, Riverside, San Bernardino, and Ventura Counties. If you, or a youth you know, needs help to get away from an abusive situation that involves human trafficking, exploitation, or abuse, just step inside any DPSS office for immediate assistance from trained DPSS Safe Youth Zone Liaisons. END OF CALFRESH PUBLIC HEALTH EMERGENCY ALLOTMENTS
Attention CalFresh customers! The temporary CalFresh Emergency Allotment benefits issued due to the COVID-19 pandemic have ended. As of April 2023, customers will no longer receive the additional CalFresh benefits. For questions regarding this change, please visit CalFresh and EBT News and Updates (lacounty.gov) or call 888-445-1955.
