SUPPORT FOR OUR COMMUNITIES DURING THE LOS ANGELES UNIFIED SCHOOL DISTRICT (LAUSD) STRIKE
Parents of children in the LAUSD have been advised to prepare for this interruption, and to access programs and resources to help them through this period. In support of that effort here are some helpful information and resources, including information about recreational activities for children, that might be of value for those with childcare needs. LAUSD has created an online map showing “real time” locations that provide supervision and recreation.
Be the Change You Want to See
Los Angeles County Department of Mental Health and its many partners want to develop alternatives to crisis response to law enforcement. Real-life data is needed. Here is an opportunity for all to participate and be the change our community deserves. For more details on how you can foster this change click this link, here.
