We Want to Hear from You
Join our commission meeting this Thursday, September 8th at 12:00p.m. to discuss the Secure Youth Treatment Facility options.
Your opinions will be shared with the L.A. County Board of Supervisors.
🗣 Share your thoughts on moving youth dispositioned to the secure track to Campus Kilpatrick from Barry J. Nidorf Juvenile Hall and future plans for additional Secure Youth Treatment Facility (SYTF) sites.
We're expecting a total of 150 to 180 young people in SYTF by next June. Only 48 fit at Kilpatrick and repairs at Scott could take four years. Should Barry J. Nidorf be the default second facility? What are your thoughts on the evaluation of other facilities like Los Padrinos or other options all together?
