Vaccine Updates and Reminders

  • Please place all orders in myCAvax on or before the Monday 5/9 5pm deadline. Refer to CDPH’s Ordering and Delivery Cadence here. Please note that catch-up orders placed next week after the Monday ordering deadline will be delayed due to expected CDC system issues.
  • A vaccine comparison guide can be found here.
  • COVID-19 Timing by age guide can be found here.
  • Updated COVID-19 Second dose timing job aid can be found here.
  • Make sure to report your inventory to VaccineFinder before you place your order.
    • Beginning May 1st, you must report your inventory weekly by 5pm on Fridays.
  • Orders submitted in myCAvax with outdated VaccineFinder inventory information WILL NOT be approved.
  • CDPH has initiated SMS/text message reminders to Californians who have initiated but not yet completed their primary vaccination series. Beginning next week, they will also send messages to those eligible for a first booster dose who have not yet received one. Messages are expected to be sent over the next several weeks to reach all who are eligible. As a result of these efforts, you may see an increase in demand for vaccination.
