TUESDAY, APRIL 26TH IS IMMIGRANT DAY OF ACTION (IDA) 2022!
Taking the Lead: Centering Immigrant Equity and Voices is an event organized by the California Immigrant Policy Center (CIPC). IDA will provide a diverse line up of leaders, partners, and impacted community members from across the state to celebrate accomplishments and discuss timely issues facing the immigrants' rights movement in the Golden State. May is CALFRESH Awareness Month! DPSS is preparing to launch activities for the County of L.A.’s annual CalFresh Awareness Month (CFAM) campaign to prevent food insecurity by informing low-income residents about the benefits of CalFresh Program.
Join us on May 4 for the Community Kick-off Event featuring free produce giveaways, yoga and Zumba classes, recruitment for summer employment, toy giveaways for children in attendance, and more.

LGBTQI2S+ TRAININGS AND COMMUNITY PRESENTATIONS BY WE EXIST

Increase your capacity to provide affirming care to LGBTQ+ clients and their loved ones. We Exist offers free online training and community presentations for all of LA County. Participate in open conversations as we explore LGBTQ+ terminology, intersecting identities, intersectionality of various identities, unique risk and protective factors, clinical considerations, making safe spaces and more. 18TH ANNUAL ENACT ADVOCACY DAY 2022: JOIN US APRIL 27-28 FOR 2 DAYS OF VIRTUAL HEALTH EQUITY ADVOCACY
 Build advocacy skills, share space, expertise and lived experience to inform policy solutions that impact Californians’ health and address racial and health inequities. This year, #enact2022 will take place over two days. Focus areas include community safety, housing access, economic and environmental justice, public health infrastructure, and more.
