Vaccine Updates and Reminders
- Please place all orders in myCAvax on or before the Monday 3/21 5pm deadline. Refer to CDPH’s Ordering and Delivery Cadence here.

- Make sure to report your inventory to VaccineFinder before you place your order.
- Orders submitted in myCAvax with outdated VaccineFinder inventory information WILL NOT be approved.
Ancillary Kits
- Do NOT reject ancillary kits you receive.
- You can opt out of ancillary kits for Moderna and Janssen standard and small orders.
- You CANNOT opt of ancillary kits for Pfizer standard orders.
- If you wish to opt of ancillary kits for small orders, please leave a note in the comments section.

Pfizer Trainings
- Links for Pfizer trainings and medical updates through March 2022 can be found here.
Janssen (J&J) Shelf-life Extension
- Shelf life extended from 6 months to 9 months
- Decision is based on data from ongoing stability assessment studies, which have demonstrated that the vaccine is stable at 9 months when refrigerated at temperatures of 2° – 8° Celsius.
- Applies to inventory dated to expire on March 7, 2022, or later
- Vaccine providers should visit the Janssen COVID-19 Vaccine Expiry Checker webpage to confirm the expiration dates.
KidsVaxGrant for VFC Providers
KidsVaxGrant will fund support for Vaccines for Children (VFC) Providers:

VFC providers not enrolled in the COVID-19 Vaccine Program:
- $10,000 to support enrollment and launch.

VFC providers enrolled in the COVID-19 Vaccine Program could be eligible for $15,000 by expanding vaccination operating hours:
- Minimum 15 hours
- Hours can include weekdays before 8:00 am and/or after 5:00 pm and/or weekend hours

- Application portal will be live week of 4/4

Test-to-Treat (T2T), HHS/ASPR
- Biden/Harris Administration Announced T2T 2 March

- Shipments began the week of 7 March

- Health and Human Services (HSS) is developing a finder site for T2T sites
