Dear LA County Health Care Worker Sector Partners,
The Q&A: Health Care Worker Vaccine Requirement Order has been updated. Changes are highlighted in yellow on the document:
-
3/14/22: Updated to reflect changes to the Order, which now permits health care workers who provide proof of a COVID-19 infection after completion of their primary series to defer their booster dose for up to 90 days after their first positive test or clinical diagnosis. After such time, these health care workers must come into compliance with the Order within 15 days. Also clarified that asymptomatic health care workers who are within 90 days post-infection do not need to participate in workplace screening testing. Removed language related to delaying vaccinations due to treatment with monoclonal antibodies or convalescent plasma.
