Free At-Home COVID-19 Test Kits Now AvailableÂ
LA County residents can now order free at-home COVID-19 tests. The federal government launched a new program in partnership between the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services and the U.S. Postal Service to provide every household in the nation 4 free at-home test kits.Â
The new website went live on Wednesday January 19th and is currently taking orders, which are expected to ship within 7-12 days.Â

Public Health Modifies Masking Requirements For Employers
COVID-19 cases continue to surge as a result of the highly transmissible Omicron variant. LA County Public Health has modified its Health Officer Order to include additional safety measures to reduce COVID-19 transmission risks.
LA County employers are now required to provide employees who work indoors in close contact with others with well-fitting medical grade masks, surgical masks, or higher-level respirators, such as N95 or KN95 masks no later than January 17th.
