 Attention Workforce Members:
In response to the latest scientific data and recommendations from the CDC and CDPH, LA Health Services has updated the workforce member guidance for COVID-19 self-monitoring, exposure and work restrictions. LA Health Services continues to be committed to ensuring the health and safety of our patients and workforce members.
The below return to work guidelines have been developed with the expert guidance from the Department of Health Services Employee Health Services in conjunction with Infection Control based on the local, state, and federal guidance.
This update adds language to address the large number of workforce members (WFM) who are now vaccinated and highly protected. This guidance refines the guidelines on management of WFM with SARS-CoV-2 infection or exposure and the impact on the healthcare system.
At this time DHS remains in routine staffing model in this document. Changes to this status will occur at a system level be directly communicated to our workforce.
You are encouraged to take time to carefully review the new guidance and take the necessary steps to keep yourself and others safe.
