🧪DHS Expected Practice: Staff COVID19 Testing Requirement

Attention DHS Workforce Members:

As part of compliance with the California State Health Order issued on July 26^th, L.A. County Department of Health Services has issued an Expected Practice effective immediately.

DHS is requiring the weekly and biweekly COVID-19 testing for unvaccinated workforce members who have direct or indirect patient contact. Please refer to the Expected Practice for a list of DHS work locations subject to the testing requirements and their corresponding testing schedule.

Workforce members at these locations will be provided with information that includes the testing locations and days and times testing will be available at various DHS locations.  The testing locations will provide the test kits as well as instructions on the proper testing procedures.   Workforce members will need to follow the testing frequency that applies based on the work location and work schedule as indicated in the table above.  Multiple testing on the same date is not allowed.
