Today the Food and Drug Administration (FDA) granted full approval to Pfizer-BioNTech’s COVID-19 vaccine for people 16 and older. This announcement makes the Pfizer vaccine the first to move beyond the Emergency Use Authorization stage receiving the FDA’s stamp of approval that this vaccine is safe and effective.
This couldn’t have come at a more crucial time as we have recently seen a rise in COVID-19 transmissions, hospitalizations and deaths in LA County happening to those who are unvaccinated.
For those who have not yet received the vaccine, the time to get the vaccine is now.
The deadline to be compliant with workforce vaccine mandates are just around the corner. If you still need your COVID-19 vaccine, please sign up now using Persinda to schedule your appointment or contact your healthcare provider.

- Email to your Employee Health representative.
Or drop off in person – bring a copy of your vaccine card to your local EHS
