Citizens Redistricting Commission

Regular Meeting, May 26, 2021, 7:00 p.m.

A panel on 2011 Los Angeles County Boundary Review Committee (BRC) experiences and lessons learned will be presented at this meeting. We will be joined by Steve Napolitano (former BCR Committee Alternate), Martin Zimmerman, former BCR Executive Director),  Mark Greninger (GIS Manager, Los Angeles County Public Works), and Nick Franchino (GIS Manager, Los Angeles County Department of Regional Planning).

The CRC’s regular meetings are the 2nd and 4th Wednesday of every month.

You can join the meeting in several ways:

County of Los Angeles Citizens Redistricting Commission (CRC)
In 2016, the California Legislature passed Senate Bill 958, requiring Los Angeles County to assemble the CRC following the Federal census. The role of the CRC is to draw the boundary lines of the five single-member, supervisorial districts of the County of Los Angeles Board of Supervisors by December 15, 2021. The CRC is to be independent from the influence of the Board of Supervisors.
