Led by the County of Los Angeles in partnership with LISC LA, the LA Regional COVID-19 Recovery Fund was designed to provide a much-needed wave of financial relief to businesses during the COVID-19 pandemic.
The Fund will be disseminating $4.7 million in financial relief through the new Keep Our Shops on the Block Grant, a $10,000 grant for small brick-and-mortar businesses in the personal care and retail sectors.
If you applied in round 1 and were not selected, you do not need to reapply. If you have not yet applied, eligible businesses can apply for the $10,000 grant starting today through Sunday, May 2nd.
My Health LA is a no-cost health care program for low-income individuals who live in Los Angeles County. Participants must be 26 or older and unable to get health insurance. Participants receive primary care at community clinics and specialty, emergency and urgent care at Health Services clinics and hospitals. Participants also can receive medications, mental health care and substance use disorder treatment. For information on My Health LA in Spanish, click here.
The pandemic has devastated homeowners in LA County who have been unable to make monthly mortgage payments and are now on the brink of foreclosure.
As a result of a motion that I and Supervisor Hahn authored, I am proud to announce that LA County, in partnership with the Neighborhood Housing Services Center for Economic Recovery, has launched its Foreclosure Prevention & Mortgage Relief Program. The program will provide foreclosure counseling and up to $20,000 in financial relief to LA County residents, excluding the City of LA, that experienced financial distress between March 1, 2020 and December 31, 2020.
Applications are now open!
