What To Expect When You're Vaccinated

What to Expect After Vaccination

The CDC has updated public health guidance for fully-vaccinated people. People who are fully vaccinated can:

  • Visit indoors with a small number of other fully vaccinated people without wearing a mask or physically distancing;
  • Visit indoors with unvaccinated people from one other household without wearing masks or physical distancing, unless any of those people or anyone they live with has an increased risk for severe illness from COVID-19;
  • Travel, provided they take precautions described in the LA County Travel Advisory;
  • Refrain from quarantine and testing if they have been exposed to a person with COVID-19 and they do not have symptoms.

#LetsFeedLACounty - A Look Inside Food Distribution Boxes

Inside Food Distribution Box

Ever wondered exactly what's inside the free food boxes we distribute to families in need? LA County and LA Regional Food Bank have partnered to organize more than 100 drive-through food pantry events during the pandemic. We provide food distribution boxes to families that contain protein, fresh produce, and shelf-stable items for a family for the week.

Within each box includes some information so people are aware of the resources that are available to them. There is information about the CalFresh Program and how to apply for it online or by calling their call center. There is also information on Women, Infants and Children Program, Senior/Older Adults Meals Program and 211 LA County. You will also find information about our Food Pantry locator, where people can learn where there are food resources in their local communities.
