LOS ANGELES, CA – Los Angeles County Board of Supervisors Chair Hilda L. Solis, and Supervisor to the First District, will join 31 pre-selected nonprofit organizations serving the Southeast Los Angeles region to distribute 630 food boxes, toys, and Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) kits for families impacted by the COVID-19 pandemic at Walnut Park Elementary School, 2643 Olive St., Walnut Park on Friday, February 12.
Thanks to sponsorships from various stakeholders including Tzu Chi USA, Northgate Market, and the American Red Cross, organizations will receive the items so that they can distribute to households.
Everyone is required to wear a cloth face mask and practice physical distancing.
Event is closed to the public. Reporters are invited to join this event.
