Learning Together Safely: Sidewalk Service
The Los Angeles County Public Library has launched it's sidewalk service program. Library locations all around the county are now available for sidewalk library card sign ups, book pickup and returns as well as Laptop and Hotspot loans.
How it works:

Call the Library once you have received notification that your hold is available or once you have uploaded your print job to let them know when you will pick up your holds and/or document.

Park in a space designated for Sidewalk Service pickup. Please bring a face covering with you; you must use one while picking up your holds or print job.

Call the Library at the number listed on the parking sign.

Follow staff instructions. You’ll be asked to wait in a designated area, wearing a face covering, while your holds and/or document are brought to a table for you to pick up.

Pick up your items and enjoy at home!

Return items to a book drop by the due date. Laptop & Hotspot Loans must be returned in person; please call the owning.

HO HO HO Grab-N-Go
 Los Angeles County Department of Parks and Recreation presents the Ho Ho Ho Grab-N-Go Events!
Sign up for a free and safe drive-thru event at a park near you. Giveaways may include: $25 Gift Certificate towards a Holiday Meal, Holiday Stocking and Decorating Kit and Food Supplies.
Pre-registration is required. Only one registration needed per-household, per-vehicle is permitted. Face masks required. No walk-ups.
What You Need To Know
- To collect your Grab-N-Go you will need to show a copy of your receipt. You can print your receipt or take a screenshot on your phone.
- You will stay in your car during the drive-thru event.
- You will need to sign a confirmation form to receive the gift certificate.

COVID-19 Safety Compliance Certification Program
 LA County is helping train businesses on the implementation of COVID-19 safety protocols through a no-cost online training course called the COVID-19 Safety Compliance Certification Program (CSCCP). Once completed, business owners receive a certificate, and window seal to display on their storefront, which can reassure employees and customers alike that the business is following COVID-19 infection control and physical distancing requirements.
If you have not yet completed the CSCCP course or want to learn more about it, visit publichealth.lacounty.gov/eh/covid19cert.htm. Help support your employees, customers, and community while on the Road to Recovery.
