A Survivor's Story

Critical Care Delivery
Workforce Development Aging and Community Services has been delivering food boxes to qualifying seniors since the Covid-19 pandemic began. As a result of the COVID-19 Pandemic and the California Safer at Home initiative, our aging population has an increased need for timely delivery services. WDACS launched a temporary delivery program called Critical Delivery Services (CDS) to deliver food and other vital items to individuals who are unable to leave their homes due to COVID-19.

Gathering Safely
 |
|
If you choose to gather in celebration or demonstration, the County would like to remind you to do so safely while following LA County Public Health's guidance for small private gatherings which aligns with the current Health Officer Order.
Public Health cautions residents that attending gatherings, even small ones, are extremely risky and can easily result in increased transmission of the virus.
It only takes one to spread to everyone you live with. Avoid gathering with others you don't live with, to protect everyone you DO live with.

COVID-19 Safety Compliance Certification Program
LA County is helping train businesses on the implementation of COVID-19 safety protocols through a no-cost online training course called the COVID-19 Safety Compliance Certification Program (CSCCP). Once completed, business owners receive a certificate, and window seal to display on their storefront, which can reassure employees and customers alike that the business is following COVID-19 infection control and physical distancing requirements.
If you have not yet completed the CSCCP course or want to learn more about it, visit publichealth.lacounty.gov/eh/covid19cert.htm. Help support your employees, customers, and community while on the Road to Recovery.
