LA County Library Free Flu Immunization Clinics

Free Flu Shots

FREE FLU SHOTS AT SELECT LA COUNTY LIBRARIES

Beginning tomorrow, L.A. County's Department of Public Health (DPH) and L.A. County Library will be offering free flu vaccines to those 6 months of age & older at select Library locations across the County. Flu shot clinic dates & locations for October & November 2020 can be found here. Health insurance will not be a requirement.

Drive-through options are available at select locations. Physical distancing, masking requirements, additional disinfecting and other measures will be in place at each free flu shot clinic location to prioritize the safety of our customers and staff.

If you're thinking of getting a flu vaccine, LA County recommends calling your regular health care provider to see what other shots you may need. If you don’t have a regular provider, dial 2-1-1 (the LA County Information Line) or visit publichealth.lacounty.gov for a list of no cost or low-cost vaccine providers.

COVID-19 Safety Compliance Certification Program

Compliance

LA County is helping train businesses on the implementation of COVID-19 safety protocols through a no-cost online training course called the COVID-19 Safety Compliance Certification Program (CSCCP). Once completed, business owners receive a certificate, and window seal to display on their storefront, which can reassure employees and customers alike that the business is following COVID-19 infection control and physical distancing requirements.

If you have not yet completed the CSCCP course or want to learn more about it, visit publichealth.lacounty.gov/eh/covid19cert.htm. Help support your employees, customers, and community while on the Road to Recovery.

Great Plates

Great Plates

Great Plates Delivered has been extended through November 8th. LA County's meal assistance program offers eligible seniors with three (3) home-delivered meals a day. Seniors over 65, seniors 60-64 years of age who have been diagnosed or exposed to COVID-19 or those at high-risk for COVID-19 may qualify. When you help a senior connect to Great Plates Delivered, you're also helping your local restaurant, hospitality and transportation community get back to work.
