A beloved local favorite is receiving well‑deserved recognition. El Corral Baja Grill, known throughout Jurupa Valley for its warm hospitality and fresh, authentic Baja‑style cuisine, has been selected as the latest recipient of the Mayor’s Business Visitation Award.
Family‑owned and operated, El Corral Baja Grill has become a staple in the community—offering flavorful dishes, supporting local events, and creating a gathering place where neighbors can connect. The restaurant’s dedication to quality and its reputation for friendly, attentive service have earned it a loyal following. In addition to the restaurants, they also own and operate El Corral Jugos where they serve up fresh juices, smoothies and fresh fruit salads.
Mayor Berkson commended the restaurant’s positive influence, acknowledging that small businesses like El Corral Baja Grill play a crucial role in shaping the character and heartbeat of Jurupa Valley. As part of the City of Jurupa Valley’s ongoing Mayor’s Business Visitation Program, City representatives had the pleasure of touring Orco Block & Hardscape, a long‑standing manufacturing leader that has helped shape communities across Southern California for more than seven decades.
Founded in 1946, Orco has grown into one of the region’s most respected producers of concrete masonry units and hardscape materials. Their Jurupa Valley facility plays a key role in supplying high‑quality blocks, pavers, and architectural masonry used in homes, schools, parks, and commercial developments throughout the region. During the visit, Orco’s leadership team shared insights into the company’s emphasis on durability, design flexibility, and environmentally responsible production practices that reduce waste while supporting local development.
The company continues to create local jobs, maintain a strong regional workforce, and contribute to the City’s economic vitality. The City extends its gratitude to Orco’s team for their hospitality and for their continued partnership and commitment to Jurupa Valley.
