Celebrate Hispanic Heritage at Fiesta Latina en Irvine
Celebrate Hispanic Heritage Month at the fifth annual Fiesta Latina en Irvine Sunday, September 13, from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m., at the Great Park.
This free, family-friendly festival celebrates Latin American culture with live music and dance, authentic cuisine, colorful art displays, handcrafted goods, and interactive cultural experiences. Enjoy traditional folk dances, local food trucks, cultural workshops, Lotería, a piñata party, engaging exhibits, and more.
Hispanic Heritage Month, observed September 15 through October 15, recognizes the history, culture, and contributions of Hispanic and Latino Americans. The national theme for 2026 is “Unidos, Somos Más” — “Together, We Are More.”

Experience a powerful fusion of storytelling, music, and theater at 5 p.m. Sunday, September 27. Behind the Lines: A 9/11 Story explores the human impact of September 11 and the war that followed through firsthand stories from firefighter Bill Spade and combat veteran Jaymes Poling.
Jazz trumpeter Dominick Farinacci leads a live ensemble accompanied by immersive lighting and cinematic visuals. Presented by Irvine Barclay Theatre, the 90-minute performance has no intermission. Doors open at 4 p.m.

Rise Against with Alkaline Trio
Experience an evening of live music Friday, October 23, as Rise Against takes the stage at Great Park Live with Alkaline Trio. Doors open at 5:30 p.m. The event is open to all ages.
Guided by its belief that music is a collective experience, Rise Against continues to bring people together through music and creativity. Fans from across its 25-year history helped shape artwork for the band’s latest music video releases, “Damage Is Done” and “Ricochet.”

Jewish communities observe Rosh Hashanah through synagogue services, festive meals, and time with family and friends. It also marks the beginning of the Days of Awe, which conclude with Yom Kippur.
