Prepare for Daisy Chain Fields Festival August 29
Temporary closures of the Great Park and surrounding streets will be in place through September 2 for the Daisy Chain Fields Music Festival, scheduled for Saturday, August 29, from 10:30 a.m. to 10 p.m.
The sold-out music festival, founded by Olivia Rodrigo and produced by C3 Presents, features a dynamic mix of female-led artists, including Bikini Kill, Chappell Roan, Mitski, Olivia Rodrigo, Sarah McLachlan, Stevie Nicks, and more.
Park Closure Information
- The Carousel, Balloon, and Visitors Center will be closed through September 2.
- The entire Great Park is closed Saturday, August 29 (open only to guests attending the festival). This includes the closure of Wild Rivers and Great Park Ice.
- Great Park Gallery is closed through September 9.

- Marine Way from Ridge Valley to Skyhawk
- Skyhawk from Marine Way to Great Park Boulevard
Saturday, August 29, at 6 a.m. to Sunday, August 30, at 1 a.m.

Great Park Neighborhood Residents
In the days leading up to the festival, Great Park Neighborhood residents may notice event setup activity, including temporary structures, staging, fencing, equipment deliveries, and increased staff presence throughout portions of the Great Park. Festival setup began August 23. Event breakdown will begin immediately following the event’s conclusion and last through the end of day September 2.
Lane and street closures will take place throughout the festival. Dash Passes for local access are available for residents who need to navigate the Resident Access Only streets August 29. A Dash Pass is a rearview mirror hanging tag or placard placed on the dashboard. Dash Passes do not provide parking on Resident Access Only streets; they only grant access past the traffic barricades. Dash Passes may be obtained from the Daisy Chain Fields Box Office during Dash Pass Distribution hours with required documentation.

Daisy Chain Fields Festival Attendees
Prepare for the festival by viewing the Know Before You Go Information.
Hydration is especially important for everyone’s health and safety. Please arrive well-hydrated, bring water to enjoy while waiting to enter the festival, and refill your bottle once inside at free hydration stations throughout the park.
Lightweight clothing, hats, sunscreen lotion, and sunglasses are encouraged. Guests may bring personal misting fans with a bottle no larger than 1.5L (must be empty upon entry), and sunscreen in non-aerosol containers of 3.4 ounces or less.
We encourage all patrons to take breaks in the naturally shaded areas throughout Great Park, such as Palm Court and Daisy Lane, cool down at the cooling fans and misters located near the merch tents, in Daisy Chain Reaction, and by the hydration stations. Cooling buses will be available at medical tents if needed.

Make a Splash at the End of Summer

Close out summer with swimming and a movie at the annual Splash-In Movie & Recreation Swim Saturday, August 29, at William Woollett Jr. Aquatics Center.
The pool opens at 6:30 p.m., followed by an outdoor screening of The Lorax at 7:15 p.m. Enjoy recreation swimming, diving boards, a water slide, and an in-water obstacle course.
Families can also exchange non-approved flotation devices for a U.S. Coast Guard-approved life jacket for children ages 6 and younger, while supplies last.
Admission is $2.50 per child and $5 per adult.
