Roadway Improvements and Traffic Advisories

August 19–26, 2026

In addition to the projects listed below that may impact your commute, you can find information on work being done to enhance our City on the Capital Improvement Projects Map and the Road Construction Map.

Daisy Chain Fields Music Festival Information for
Great Park Neighborhood Residents

Daisy Chain Fields, a new music festival founded by Olivia Rodrigo and produced by C3 Presents, will debut at the Great Park August 29, from 10:30 a.m. to 10 p.m.

In the days leading up to the festival, there will be setup activity, including temporary structures, staging, fencing, equipment deliveries, and increased staff presence throughout portions of the Great Park. Festival setup will begin August 23, and event breakdown will begin immediately following the event’s conclusion and last through the end of the day September 2.

Dash Passes for Resident Access
Lane and street closures will take place throughout the festival. Dash Passes for local access are available for residents who need to navigate the Resident Access Only streets August 29. A Dash Pass is a rearview mirror hanging tag or placard placed on the dashboard. Dash Passes do not provide parking on Resident Access Only streets; they only grant access past the traffic barricades. Dash Passes may be obtained from the Daisy Chain Fields Box Office during Dash Pass Distribution hours with required documentation.

Please note that the Great Park will be closed Thursday, August 27, to Sunday, August 30.

Please visit the Daisy Chain Fields website for related information. For general feedback or support, please email neighborhood@daisychainfields.com.

Orchard Hills Neighborhood Street Rehabilitation

As part of the Street Rehabilitation Program, the City is performing pavement rehabilitation on residential streets in the Orchard Hills Neighborhood. The project includes:

  • Pavement rehabilitation on Culver Drive and Forge, north of Portola Parkway
  • Slurry seal on Orchard Hills Drive
  • The addition of a Class IV Protected Bike Lane on Culver Drive and Orchard Hills Drive

This project also includes utility coordination with the Irvine Ranch Water District.

Work occurs Monday through Friday from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. and will continue through August.

Access to businesses and private streets/communities will be maintained during the project; however, access to streets and driveways may be temporarily restricted while work is underway. Neighborhood parking may also be limited during construction activities; vehicles must be parked outside the posted work areas until construction is complete and signage is removed.
