On April 9, the Greater Irvine Chamber, in collaboration with the City, hosted a free Outsmart Disaster workshop, equipping local businesses with practical tools to prepare for and respond to unexpected disruptions.

Through this program, designed by the California Office of the Small Business Advocate, participants develop customized preparedness plans focused on protecting employees and assets while maintaining business continuity.

Aviator Hall: A Premier Event Destination Coming to the Great Park

Aviator Hall, an adaptive reuse of a 30,000-square-foot historic structure, is set to become one of Orange County’s largest and most flexible indoor event venues. Located within the Great Park’s Cultural Terrace, the facility will anchor a dynamic destination featuring open space, lawn areas, and community gathering amenities. Now in final design, with construction bids underway, Aviator Hall represents a major investment in Irvine’s event and cultural infrastructure.

Unlock Travel Savings with Irvine’s New Business Transient Incentive Program

Destination Irvine’s new Business Transient Incentive Program helps companies cut recurring hotel costs by locking in year-long executive-level rates and earning quarterly cash incentives for consistent room nights in participating Irvine hotels. Eligible businesses without existing Irvine hotel transient rates that commit to at least 30 room nights per quarter can qualify and start offsetting travel expenses while securing reliable accommodations for their teams.

U.S. Men’s National Team Selects Great Park as Training Base Camp

The U.S. Men’s National Team has selected the Great Park as its official Team Base Camp training site for the 2026 FIFA World Cup. The team will train at the Great Park Championship Soccer Stadium, a premier facility with seating for more than 7,000, highlighting Irvine’s world-class athletic infrastructure and continued investment in spaces that support elite competition while remaining accessible to the community.

SBA Disaster Loan Program

Orange County businesses impacted by the December 16–26, 2025, storm may be eligible for low-interest federal assistance through the SBA disaster loan program. With the County designated under SBA Disaster Declaration #21433, funding is available to support recovery and rebuilding. If your business was affected, we encourage you to apply promptly.

Economic injury loan applications are due by November 3.
