Marine Way Project
As work continues this week on the underpass excavation walls and deck, new renderings of the completed project showcase the multitude of ways you can use the new rail undercrossing. The extension supports a broader shift toward active and sustainable travel modes with sidewalks and bike trails in addition to two lanes of vehicle traffic in both directions.
The addition of new vehicle lanes and a dedicated access point to the Great Park will help reduce congestion at the intersection of Sand Canyon Avenue and Marine Way. The opposite end of Marine Way is currently under construction by FivePoint and will be opened to the public following City inspection and approval.
