2026 State of the City
The City of Irvine invites the community to the annual State of the City Address, with Mayor Larry Agran, Tuesday, March 10, at the Irvine Civic Center, 1 Civic Center Plaza. The evening begins with a free public reception at 5 p.m., followed by the Mayor’s address at 6 p.m.
Mayor Agran will highlight the City’s accomplishments over the past year and share updates on upcoming projects and priorities shaping Irvine’s future. This free event is open to the public, and no RSVP is required.

City of Irvine to Host Women’s Conference
In honor of Women’s History Month, the City of Irvine is hosting a Women’s Conference that will bring community members together for a day of education, empowerment, and connection Friday, March 13, from 8:30 a.m. to 1:45 p.m. at Irvine City Hall.
The event will feature panel discussions and breakout sessions focused on a range of topics, including healthcare and wellness, domestic violence awareness and resources, financial education and independence, intergenerational opportunities and challenges, older adulthood planning, and entrepreneurship.

Katie Wheeler Library Grand Opening
Celebrate the grand opening of Katie Wheeler Library Saturday, March 7, from 10 a.m. to noon. Enjoy classic lawn games, hands-on activities for all ages, and live music from a barbershop quartet while exploring thoughtfully updated spaces that honor the building’s historic charm and introduce modern enhancements designed to support reading, studying, and community.
Katie Wheeler Library is located at 13109 Old Myford Road, Irvine. Admission is free and open to the public.

Spring Art Exhibitions Opening Reception: Saturday, March 7, 2–4 p.m. Exhibition: March 7–May 16 Irvine Fine Arts Center, 14321 Yale Avenue
Arts in Irvine presents two new exhibitions, First Day of Spring Is Today and Sergio O’Cádiz Moctezuma: In Process, opening March 7 at the Irvine Fine Arts Center. Together, the exhibitions explore themes of transformation, experimentation, and the evolving nature of creative practice through painting, sculpture, mixed media, archival materials, and works on paper. An opening reception with the artists will take place Saturday, March 7, from 2 to 4 p.m.
