Traffic Signal Shutdown at Alton and West Yale Loop
The traffic signal at Alton Parkway and West Yale Loop will be turned off or placed in red flash mode from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Thursday, February 26.
Every effort will be made to keep traffic flowing and minimize disruptions, but delays should be expected, and motorists should consider using alternate routes when possible.

Walnut Avenue South of Jeffrey Road Closure
There will be overnight closures of Walnut Avenue south of Jeffrey Road due to construction on the Jeffrey Open Space Trail (JOST) Bicycle & Pedestrian Bridge. Closures will be in effect on the following dates and times:
- Wednesday, February 25, 11 p.m. to Thursday, February 26, 5 a.m.
- Thursday, February 26, 11 p.m. to Friday, February 27, 5 a.m.
Access to area residences and businesses will be maintained, but there will be no access to the southbound I-5 Freeway on-and off-ramps or Caltrans Park & Ride during the overnight closures.

Road Closure on Michelson Drive
There will be a full closure of the westbound lanes of Michelson Drive between Carlson and Teller avenues Saturday, March 7, from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m.
This closure is part of the Jamboree & Michelson Pedestrian Bridge project. The bridge aims to improve pedestrian safety, ease traffic congestion, and serve as a gateway monument for anyone entering the Irvine Business Complex. It is expected to be complete July 2027.

Jamboree Road and Main Street Intersection Enhancements
The Jamboree Road and Main Street intersection project is underway with work occurring weekdays from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. and lane closures in place from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.
The project, which will continue through August 2026, includes modifications to the alignment and medians at the intersection to enhance traffic flow approaching the I-405 Freeway. It also includes modifying the traffic signal system, providing Class II bike lanes, and adjusting drainage facilities.

Woodbury Neighborhood Street Rehabilitation
Sidewalk, curb ramp, and miscellaneous concrete and accessibility improvements are underway on both arterial and local streets throughout the Woodbury neighborhoods as part of the Street Rehabilitation Program.
Work occurs weekdays from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. on residential streets and 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. on arterial streets through May.
Access to streets and driveways may be temporarily restricted while work is underway. Parking within the neighborhood may also be limited during construction activities; vehicles must be parked outside the posted work areas until construction is complete and signage is removed. Access to businesses and private streets or communities will be maintained throughout the project.

State Route 55 Lane Closures
There will be northbound and southbound lane closures on State Route 55 between MacArthur Boulevard and McFadden Avenue from 9 p.m. to 5 a.m. through Friday, February 27.

I-5 Freeway Improvement Project Ramp Closures
The Orange County Transportation Authority (OCTA), in partnership with Caltrans, is improving the I-5 Freeway between the I-405 Freeway and State Route 55 to reduce congestion, enhance safety, and improve travel.
Crews will install temporary pavement markings to implement future temporary striping on designated on- and off-ramps along the northbound and southbound I-5 Freeway, which requires the following ramp and lane closures:

State Route 241 Lane Reduction
Lanes will be reduced on southbound State Route 241 between the Tomato Springs Toll Plaza and Alton Parkway for guardrail work. Two lanes will remain open to traffic.
Work will be done:
- Through Thursday, February 26, from 9 p.m. to 5 a.m.
- Through Friday, February 27, from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m.
- Friday, February 27, 9 p.m. to Saturday, February 27, at 9 a.m.
In addition, lanes will be reduced on the northbound State Route 241 between State Route 133 and Santiago Canyon Road through Friday, February 27, from 6:30 a.m. to 1 p.m.

State Route 261 Lane Reduction
There will be nightly lane reductions on southbound State Route 261 between Irvine Boulevard and the I-5 Freeway Thursday, February 26, from 10 p.m. to 5 a.m. and Friday, February 27, from 10 p.m. to 6 a.m.
