Full Weekend Closure I-405 Irvine Center Drive Off-Ramp

A full weekend closure of the southbound I-405 Freeway Irvine Center Drive off-ramp is scheduled for Friday, October 24, at 10 p.m. through Monday, October 27, at 5 a.m. for crews to safely perform striping, paving, and drainage work at the off-ramp.

Detour routes will be posted to help motorists navigate through the area during the closure. Please follow all temporary construction signage and reduce traveling speed through the construction zone.

Harvard Avenue & Michelson Drive
Intersection Improvements

The City has begun removing and replacing asphalt pavement, curb and gutter, curb ramps, and sidewalk, and modifying traffic signal equipment at the intersection of Harvard Avenue and Michelson Drive.

Work will continue Monday through Friday from 7 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. through May 2026 behind temporary traffic control delineators and permanent K-rail lane closures.

This intersection widening project will enhance traffic flow through the intersection and improve signal timing coordination along the Harvard Avenue and Michelson Drive corridors. The project is anticipated to be complete in fall 2026.

State Route 55 Dyer Road Loop On-Ramp 30-Day Closure

Orange County Transportation Authority crews will be reconstructing the northbound State Route 55 Dyer Road loop on-ramp, which will require an extended closure of the on-ramp Friday, October 24, at 9 p.m. through Sunday, November 23, at 5 a.m.

State Route 73 Closures

The northbound State Route (SR) 73 Bison Avenue on-ramp will be closed nightly from 10 p.m. to 5 a.m. through Thursday, October 23. It will also close Friday, October 24, at 11 p.m., opening Saturday, October 25, at 6 a.m.

State Route 133 Closure

The southbound State Route 133 (SR-133) connector to southbound I-405 will be fully closed through Wednesday, October 22, from 11:59 p.m. to 5 a.m. The southbound 133 Toll Road connector to northbound I-5 Freeway will be closed Friday, October 24, from 9 p.m. to 5 a.m.

Overnight State Route 241 Closure of Loma Ridge Segment

State Route 241 between State Route 133 and State Route 261 will be closed on the following dates:

• Thursday, October 23
  • Northbound closure: 9 p.m. to 1 a.m.
  • Southbound closure: 1 a.m. to 6 a.m.
• Friday, October 24
  • Northbound closure: 9 p.m. to 1 a.m.
  • Southbound closure: 1 a.m. to 6 a.m.
