Participate in Volunteer Projects throughout Irvine
The City of Irvine has partnered with Love Irvine for the fifth annual Love Irvine Citywide Serve Day Saturday, November 8, from 7:30 a.m. to noon. This partnership connects people who want to participate in volunteer opportunities with various nonprofit service providers, faith-based organizations, government entities, and schools.
There are more than 25 projects available, and many ways for residents to make a meaningful impact. The entire community is encouraged to come together and serve, creating a lasting difference in the City and beyond. A kickoff event will begin at 7:30 a.m. at Woodbridge Village Center, and afterward, volunteers will report to their respective volunteer locations.

Discover the Art of Innovation at the Great Park Gallery
Step into a world where creativity and technology converge at 25 Years at the Beall Center for Art + Technology, opening Sunday, October 26, at the Great Park Gallery with a reception from 1 to 3 p.m. This landmark exhibition — presented in collaboration with the University of California, Irvine — celebrates a quarter century of groundbreaking work at the intersection of art and innovation.
Since opening in 2000, the Beall Center has inspired collaboration between artists, engineers, and researchers, using technology as a canvas for creative expression. The exhibition features interactive installations and digital artworks that showcase the evolution of art in the digital age, reflecting both the center’s history and its vision for the future.

Monster Splash 2025
Join the City of Irvine for a spooktacular afternoon of Halloween fun at Monster Splash, Saturday, October 25, from 1 to 5 p.m. at the William Woollett Jr. Aquatics Center.
Families are invited to enjoy trick-or-treating around the pool decks, a floating pumpkin patch, and festive pumpkin-decorating stations. Brave the inflatable obstacle course, take a recreational swim, and capture memories at themed photo booths. Seasonal snacks and beverages will also be available for purchase.
Registration is $12 per child age 12 and younger and includes one pumpkin; adults are free. Lifeguards will be on duty. Children 6 and younger must be accompanied in the water by an adult, with one adult required per child.

Free Fair Housing Workshop: Learn Your Rights and Responsibilities
The City of Irvine and the Fair Housing Foundation will host a free Fair Housing Workshop Wednesday, November 5, from 2 to 4 p.m. at Quail Hill Community Center.
Participants will learn about important housing topics, including:
- New statewide laws
- Federal and state fair housing regulations
- Housing discrimination
- Eviction process
- Rent increases
- Security deposits
- Habitability and repairs
This workshop offers an opportunity for tenants, landlords, property managers, owners, attorneys, realtors, and management companies to better understand their rights and responsibilities under current housing laws.

Celebrate the Holidays at the Great Park
Celebrate the season as the Great Park transforms into a festive winter wonderland filled with holiday-themed art, lights, and music from December 6 to January 4.
Illuminate Irvine Ring in the season with winter-wonderland-inspired activities and holiday music classics Saturday, December 6, from 3 to 8 p.m. The evening features the lighting of the Holiday Tree and Palm Court Arts Complex. Guests are encouraged to donate a new, unwrapped gift for children up to age 12 for the Irvine 2/11 Marine Adoption Committee Holiday Toy Drive.
Palm Court Light Display Holidayz at the Park features a dazzling outdoor light display in the Palm Court, inviting guests to stroll and snap photos. Drop by to see the lights and displaysfrom December 6 to January 4 from dusk to 9 p.m.
Holiday Classes and Activities Join us for holiday-themed classes for the whole family. Activities are held at the Great Park. Fees and ages vary by program. Registration is required at yourirvine.org

City of Irvine Offering Passport Services
The City of Irvine is a designated Passport Acceptance Facility, providing residents with a convenient way to apply for new passports and passport photos at City Hall.
Appointments are available Mondays and Wednesdays from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. in the Office of Records and Information, located on the first floor of City Hall. Expanded hours are planned for early 2026. Customers may apply for a new passport book, passport card, or both, and on-site passport photo services are available for added convenience.
