Irvine’s Global Village: Music, Food & Culture for All Ages
The Irvine Global Village Festival takes place Saturday, October 11, from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. at the Great Park.
Experience the world in Irvine at the City’s largest multicultural celebration. Enjoy live music and dance performances, explore artisan booths, and participate in hands-on cultural demonstrations.
Discover the Textiles & Traditions exhibit and enjoy a cultural fashion show featuring traditional and contemporary designs from communities around the globe. Sample international flavors with the popular $5 global tasting menu, offering bites from around the world in one place.

Explore Wellness at the Healthy Living Expo
The City of Irvine invites the community to the Healthy Living Expo Saturday, October 4, from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Irvine Civic Center.
Discover fitness demonstrations, health screenings, flu shots, wellness exhibitors, and giveaways. Orange County Social Services Agency will offer on-site enrollment for Medi-Cal, CalFresh, CalWORKS, and In-Home Supportive Services.
Free transportation is available for Irvine residents ages 50 and older through TRIPS. Call 949-724-7433 by October 3 to reserve.

Monster Splash 2025
Join the City of Irvine for a spooktacular afternoon of Halloween fun at Monster Splash, Saturday, October 25, from 1 to 5 p.m. at the William Woollett Jr. Aquatics Center.
Families are invited to enjoy trick-or-treating around the pool decks, a floating pumpkin patch, and festive pumpkin-decorating stations. Brave the inflatable obstacle course, take a recreational swim, and capture memories at themed photo booths. Seasonal snacks and beverages will also be available for purchase.
Registration is $12 per child age 12 and younger and includes one pumpkin; adults are free. Lifeguards will be on duty. Children 6 and younger must be accompanied in the water by an adult, with one adult required per child.

 Free Food Box Program
The City of Irvine, in partnership with Community Action Partnership of Orange County, offers The Emergency Food Assistance Program (TEFAP) to eligible residents. Each month, participants receive a food box weighing about 30 pounds, which may include beans, fresh produce, canned and frozen vegetables, juice, rice, cereal, pasta, cheese, milk, and meat, poultry, or fish when available.
The next distribution will take place Thursday, October 9, 2025, at 9 a.m. at Heritage Park Community Center, 14301 Yale Avenue. Reservations are encouraged. Make a Reservation | View the flier

 Final Draft Climate Action and Adaptation Plan Available for Review
The City of Irvine has released a Final Draft Climate Action and Adaptation Plan (CAAP) to address the impacts of climate change and support a sustainable, resilient future.
Community members are invited to review the draft and share feedback by Friday, October 3, at 5 p.m. Comments may be submitted directly in the document or by email to EnvironmentalPrograms@cityofirvine.org.

Apply for the Irvine Sports Committee
The City of Irvine is accepting applications for two volunteer at-large seats on the Irvine Sports Committee, which advises on policies, programs, and facilities that serve Irvine’s youth sports community.
Eligibility and commitment include Irvine residency (preferred), a two-year volunteer term, and quarterly meetings Wednesdays at 7 p.m. at Quail Hill Community Center.
