Explore Wellness at the Healthy Living Expo
The City of Irvine invites the community to the Healthy Living Expo Saturday, October 4, from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Irvine Civic Center.
Discover fitness demonstrations, health screenings, flu shots, wellness exhibitors, and giveaways. Orange County Social Services Agency will offer on-site enrollment for Medi-Cal, CalFresh, CalWORKS, and In-Home Supportive Services.
Free transportation is available for Irvine residents ages 50 and older through TRIPS. Call 949-724-7433 between September 22–October 3 to reserve.

City of Irvine to Host Inaugural Nonprofit Week
The City of Irvine will host Nonprofit Week September 30–October 4, bringing together nonprofit leaders, volunteers, and City staff to collaborate, share resources, and strengthen support for the community.

Irvine Named “Best City to Live in”
Irvine has once again been voted “Best City to Live in” by Orange County Register readers, earning the honor for the 10th year in a row.
This recognition highlights Irvine’s ongoing commitment to creating a safe, sustainable, and welcoming community. Recent milestones include the opening of the Irvine Public Library, a coveted national ranking for our park system, the 50th anniversary of the Irvine Police Department, mobility projects such as the Irvine CONNECT shuttle, and expanded bikeways.

Mid-Autumn Festival at the Great Park
Celebrate the Mid-Autumn Festival Friday, September 26, from 5 to 9:30 p.m. at the Great Park. This free, family-friendly event features live performances, cultural demonstrations, children’s activities, and exhibits highlighting traditions from across East and Southeast Asia.
Also known as the Moon Festival or Mooncake Festival, the holiday has been celebrated for thousands of years as a time of unity and gratitude. Guests can enjoy music, dance, and culinary experiences, including savory meals and sweet treats.
This is a popular event — please allow extra time for parking and arrival, and expect heavier traffic in the area. Suggested parking is available in Lots 2, 4, 5, and 6. View parking map.

Apply for the Irvine Sports Committee
The City of Irvine is accepting applications for two volunteer at-large seats on the Irvine Sports Committee, which advises on policies, programs, and facilities that serve Irvine’s youth sports community.
Eligibility and commitment include Irvine residency (preferred), a two-year volunteer term, and quarterly meetings Wednesdays at 7 p.m. at Quail Hill Community Center.
