Culver Drive and Alton Parkway Intersection Improvements
There will be single lane closures in both directions of Alton Parkway at Culver Drive through Thursday, July 31, from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. as construction continues on the next phase of the Culver Drive and Alton Parkway Intersection Improvement project.
This work is expected to result in significant traffic delays. Please use alternate routes when possible.
This project, which will enhance traffic flow through the intersection and improve signal timing coordination along the Culver Drive and Alton Parkway corridors, is anticipated to be complete this summer.

Jamboree & Michelson Pedestrian Bridge Project
The following lane closures began Monday, July 28, as part of the Jamboree & Michelson Pedestrian Bridge project:
- Southbound Jamboree Road to westbound Michelson Drive dedicated right-turn lane
- Westbound Michelson Drive to northbound Jamboree Road dedicated right-turn lane
These closures will be in place until the project’s completion in July 2027.
Right turns can still be made from the far right lanes on southbound Jamboree Road and westbound Michelson Drive.
The Jamboree & Michelson Pedestrian Bridge project aims to improve pedestrian safety, ease traffic congestion, and serve as a gateway monument for anyone entering the Irvine Business Complex.

State Route 55 On-ramps and Dyer Road Closures
The northbound State Route 55 (SR-55) loop on-ramp and both direction lanes of Dyer Road under the freeway will be closed through Friday, August 1, from 8 p.m. to 5 a.m. while steel girders are installed at the Dyer Road bridge.
In addition, the southbound SR-55 MacArthur Boulevard straight on-ramp is closed to motorists through 5 a.m. Friday, August 1.

State Route 133 and Laguna Canyon Road Closures
The southbound State Route (SR) 133 Laguna Canyon Road connector to northbound I-405 Freeway will be closed through Friday, August 1, from 11:59 p.m. to 5 a.m.
The southbound State Route (SR) 133 Laguna Canyon Road Barranca Parkway on-ramp will be closed through Friday, August 1, from 11 p.m. to 5 a.m.
In addition, the southbound State Route (SR) 133 Laguna Canyon Road connector to southbound
I-405 Freeway will be closed Friday, August 1, from 9 p.m. to 5 a.m.
