This Week in DE&I

June 6: D-Day — On June 6, 1944, allied forces launched a major invasion on the beaches of Normandy, France, during World War II. This historic military operation helped lead to the liberation of Western Europe from Nazi control. The success of D-Day marked a turning point in the war and is remembered as the beginning of the end of the conflict in Europe.
June 6: Eid al-Adha — Eid al-Adha, or the Festival of Sacrifice, is an important Muslim holiday that honors the Prophet Ibrahim’s devotion to God.
