Civic Center Parking Lot Rehabilitation
The City continues to make improvements to the Civic Center Parking Lot, with Phase 3 continuing through the next few weeks.
Phase 3 work will be shifting to the northern lot and will temporarily remove access to the main drive-through lane from Harvard beginning Thursday, May 8.
Phase 3 improvements include:
- Construction of landscape islands at the end of each row along the main drive-through lane from Harvard. These areas affect grading and drainage and need to be installed before the irrigation and solar system conduits.
- Upgrading the accessibility path in front of the Civic Center. This work will block off the accessibility path to the Civic Center for one week beginning Thursday, May 1.
Phase 3 will have a significant impact on the availability of parking near the Civic Center entrance for approximately the next four weeks, weather permitting. Work will be done Monday through Saturday from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. Additional parking is available off of Harvard Avenue and San Juan.
Access to City Hall and ICDC will be maintained while work is being done.
The entire project is expected to be completed in July.

Every effort will be made to keep traffic flowing and minimize disruptions; however, delays should be expected, and motorists should consider using alternate routes.
