Jeffrey Road & Alton Parkway Intersection Improvements
The City continues removing and replacing asphalt pavement at the intersection of Jeffrey Road and Alton Parkway as part of an intersection widening project that will enhance traffic flow and improve signal timing coordination.
Construction will be done within the intersection of Jeffrey Road and Alton Parkway Wednesday, April 23, through Friday, April 25, from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.
For more information, email pm@cityofirvine.org or call the project hotline at 949-724-6676.
Campus Drive Closure
Campus Drive will be closed to vehicles between University Drive and Culver Drive Saturday, May 3, between 5 a.m. and 8 p.m. for the second annual CicloIrvine: An Open Streets Event.
There will be no street parking along the route. Harvard Avenue and designated cross streets — Bridge Road, Berkeley Avenue, and California Avenue — will remain open to provide access to businesses and shopping centers.
Most driveways along the route will be closed from 5 a.m. to 8 p.m. Please look for posted signs indicating detour routes.
CicloIrvine highlights the City’s commitment to community engagement, sustainability, and environmentally conscious travel, with 1.4 miles of City streets closed to cars and open for people to stroll, bike, and roll. Experience Irvine’s public spaces and local businesses in a new and reimagined way with live music, art, and engaging activities for all.
