Traffic Signal Shutdown at Jeffrey Road and Alton Parkway

The traffic signal at the intersection of Sand Canyon Avenue and Portola Parkway will be turned off Thursday, April 10, between 9 a.m. and 3 p.m. for traffic signal work. Every effort will be made to keep traffic flowing and minimize disruptions; however, delays should be expected, and motorists should consider using alternate routes.

Overnight Closures on Northbound State Route 241

Overnight closures of the northbound State Route 241 (SR-241), between State Route 133 and State Route 261, will occur Thursday, April 10, 9 p.m. to 5 a.m. and Friday, April 11, 9 p.m. to 5 a.m.

The closures are part of a Caltrans project to reconstruct a failed slope adjacent to northbound SR-241 and address roadway depression. Work is expected to be completed by fall 2025. As part of temporary traffic controls, both northbound and southbound lanes will be reduced from three lanes to two for the duration of the project.

Detour:

• Exit northbound State Route 241 at Portola Parkway; turn left onto Portola Parkway; take Portola Parkway to State Route 261; turn right for northbound State Route 261/State Route 241 or turn left onto southbound State Route 261.

SR-55 Improvement Project — Northbound Dyer Road
Off-Ramp Extended Closure

Orange County Transportation Authority crews will continue pavement work along the outside lane of northbound State Route 55 (SR-55) between the northbound Dyer Road off-ramp and Dyer Road bridge. This work will require an extended closure of the outside lane and northbound Dyer Road loop on-ramp from 9 p.m., Friday, April 11, to 5 a.m., Monday, April 14.

Additionally, the northbound SR-55 off-ramp is expected to reopen to motorists Friday, April 11, by 5 a.m.

Detour signs will be posted in advance. Motorists are encouraged to plan ahead before traveling through the area. View detours.

Nightly Closure: Southbound State Route 133 Connector to Northbound I-5

Nightly Ramp Closures: State Route 73

The following nightly ramp closures will be closed on State Route 73 (SR-73) Friday, April 11, from 11:30 p.m. to 5 a.m.
